A Message from the First Vice President
I embrace these cool days of January. Being a gal from the North, I cannot call them cold.
I love to spend these cool days in my kitchen making soups and comfort foods. And since I play less golf during these cooler days, I love to have a cup of hot chocolate and snuggle up to a good read in the afternoons.
Our next meeting/luncheon is Thursday, February 1st at Windermere Golf Club. The address: 5000 Davis Love Drive, Cumming. The doors open at 10am.
Remember to send in your reservation and payment by Tuesday, January 23. Cost is $30. Checks are payable to FCLL.

A Message from the Second Vice President
A new Boys and Girls Club is being built in Forsyth county. The speaker for the February luncheon will tell us what this means for the community and what their needs will be for the kids. Our March Service Project will be for this club.
If you have a friend who would like to join FCLL, the membership dues are $20 for the remainder of this year which ends in May. A great time to introduce new members!
Our March Service Project will be to provide items requested for the New Boys and Girls Club. A Representative of the organization will provide background information on the new Boys and Girls Club which will be centrally located for Forsyth County’s Title 1 schools. Their new facility will be 21,000 square feet and will serve 300 boys and girls in grades K-12.
It is being built on a large piece of property donated by Tommy and Chantal Bagwell of Forsyth and is located on Antioch Road near The Place. The Forsyth Boys and Girls Club will offer a large variety of activities and classes.
It will be gratifying to be a part of supplying needs for an organization which will contribute so much to the future of our county by preparing our youth to live productive lives.

Service Project Chairman
